Job summary

Adecco Group is seeking an Electrical Assembler in the Houston, TX area for a contract-to-hire position. You will perform standard assembly, reworks, and repairs on manufactured equipment and products under varying supervision.

Responsibilities include assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components, testing, and supporting safety and quality initiatives. Candidates should have a high school diploma and several years of related experience, with proficiency in basic hand and power tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–10 years related experience.
• Minimum 3 years in heavy equipment assembly.
• Proficient with basic hand and power tools.
• Able to read blueprints/drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with torque wrenches and calibration tools.
• Familiar with fluid power schematics and symbols.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Email, PDM).

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision to perform a variety of assembly operations for manufacturing products and large equipment.
• Assemble, fit, mount, align, adjust and test equipment.
• Promote safety awareness and contribute to quality improvement processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspect production equipment.

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an Electrical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Houston, TX surrounding area. Responsible for performing standard assembly processes, reworks, and repairs on manufactured equipment and products.

Responsibilities:

• Work under moderate to limited supervision, perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing, or large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, transmissions, diesel and natural gas generators, control equipment, covers/cowlings, related connecting lines, etc.
• Assembly process may include fitting, mounting, alignment, adjusting , and operational testing and other duties.
• Promotes and contributes to safety awareness.
• Promotes and takes an active part in quality and continuous improvement processes.
• Performs preventive maintenance, inspects production equipment, and performs minor repairs.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent and two to ten years related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment assembly .
• Must be proficient in basic hand and power tools.
• Proficient understanding of calibration tools ( Torque Wrench ).
• Employees must be able to read blueprints and drawings as well as be knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments.
• Tasks include performing manufacturing math calculations and use of specialized lifting equipment.
• Basic knowledge of fluid power schematics and associated symbols.
• Good understanding of UEM quality policy and standards
• General understanding of MS computer programs (Word, Email, PDM).
• Good standing with company policies.
