Responsibilities

Position Summary

Apache Workforce is seeking Electrical Assemblers for industrial manufacturing opportunities in the Houston area. This position involves assembling, wiring, and installing electrical components and systems according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical assembly, wiring, conduit, electrical panels, hand and power tools, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.

Install and connect wiring, conduit, panels, and electrical components.

Route, pull, label, and secure wiring according to drawings and work instructions.

Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

Verify materials and components before beginning assigned work.

Electrical Assembler Levels

Electrical Assembler I

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with conduit installation and wire routing.

Installing basic electrical components and hardware.

Assisting with supports, brackets, and mounting structures.

Supporting experienced assemblers with electrical assembly tasks.

Preferred Experience: 3+ months of manufacturing, assembly, electrical, or related hands-on experience.

Electrical Assembler II

In addition to Level I responsibilities, may include:

Performing low-voltage wiring and terminations.

Performing medium-voltage wiring and terminations as applicable to the assignment.

Working independently on assigned assembly tasks.

Reading and applying electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Preferred Experience: 2-5 years of electrical assembly or related experience.

Electrical Assembler III

In addition to Level I and II responsibilities, may include:

Troubleshooting electrical assembly and wiring issues.

Reading and applying complex electrical drawings and layouts.

Supporting more advanced electrical assembly activities.

Preferred Experience: 5+ years of related electrical assembly experience.

Qualifications

Experience in electrical assembly, industrial manufacturing, electrical installation, or a related field preferred.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Familiarity with wiring, conduit, electrical components, and assembly processes.

Experience using common hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

Basic math and measurement skills.

Education

Standing and walking throughout the work area for extended periods.

Bending, reaching, and performing repetitive assembly tasks.

Handling materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

Working around electrical components, tools, equipment, and manufacturing machinery.

Working in areas that may not be climate controlled.

Working scheduled overtime or extended shifts based on production needs.

Safety & PPE

$21.00-27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifying night-shift hours receive an additional 10% shift differential.
