Fives North American Combustion, Inc. in Cleveland, OH is hiring a full-time Electrical Assembler. In this role you will build electrical and mechanical components for control panels, read schematics, and work with hand tools and small machinery.

You’ll join a team that values safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Prior experience with electrical panels, wiring, and SAP/ERP systems is preferred, along with crane or tow motor experience.

Qualifications

• Experience building electrical control panels with mechanical assembly and wiring.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, layout drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with basic electric/pneumatic hand tools and small machinery.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to quality standards; ensure assemblies meet requirements.
• Assemble electrical and mechanical components of control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics; develop wiring charts.
• Pull parts from inventory and coordinate with purchasing to resolve missing parts.
• Document changes to drawings and parts; assist with receiving/shipping as needed.

• Comply with company safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Adhere to quality standards, ensuring assemblies meet/exceed customer and company requirements
• Complete assemblies on time while working either individually or as part of a team
• Assemble all electrical and mechanical aspects of control panels and other related itemsRead and interrupt electrical schematics, from which wiring charts and notes are developed
• Pull parts from inventory based on bills of material and work with purchasing to resolve missing parts
• Document changes and corrections to any and all drawings, descriptions, bills of material, etc.
• Perform inventory management functions as needed, including receiving and shipping tasks
• Other duties as assignedstalls moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.

• Previous experience with building electrical control panels including mechanical assembly and wiring
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, layout drawings, and assembly instructions
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude required to diagnose and solve issues arising during manufacturing
• Experience using basic electric/pneumatic hand tools and small machinery (drill presses, punches)
• Experience using overhead cranes and hoists preferred
• Experience using a tow motor preferred
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Experience using ERP/MRP (SAP) software applications preferred
