Job summary

ALSO. is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Vehicle Architecture to drive the electrical architecture of its micro-mobility platforms. The role focuses on power distribution, energy storage, compute, sensors, and safety systems with an emphasis on modularity and reuse across vehicle lines.

You will provide technical direction to systems, electrical, firmware, and cable harness teams, balancing performance, cost, reliability, and regulatory compliance from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical system design for micro-mobility, automotive, robotics, or related industries.
• Proven ability to architect complex electrical systems from concept to production.
• Strong system-level thinking balancing performance, cost, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with functional safety and EMC/EMI compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive electrical architecture of micro-mobility platforms and power distribution, energy storage, compute, sensors, lighting, safety, and connectivity.
• Establish vehicle block diagrams, interfaces and standards for modularity across lines.
• Lead design reviews and ensure architecture compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical systems.
