The Architect of the Capitol, Superintendent Senate Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent Facilities Operations Division, Electrical Branch, seeks an Electrical Worker to support journeyman electricians in routine electrical tasks.

The position involves shift work, emergency response, and possible holidays/weekends; candidates will learn to diagnose and repair wiring and electrical devices, perform testing, and maintain equipment safely at our DC location.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing electrical worker tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to install, test, and repair wiring and electrical devices.
• Familiarity with safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman electricians with wiring installation and repairs.
• Test circuits and diagnose faults using meters and oscilloscopes.
