Job summary

The Nebraska Capitol Commission in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Electrician to maintain electrical components of the Capitol Building, including motors, switches, lighting, and building automation. You will work with maintenance staff, respond to after-hours issues when on-call, and assist with seasonal snow removal.

Qualified candidates hold Nebraska Journeyman Electrical license or Electrical Contractor license or eligibility; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Nebraska Journeyman Electrical license OR Electrical Contractor license or eligibility to become licensed in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Work on electrical issues and building automation systems.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as changing filters and assisting on plumbing issues.
• Assist with events and snow removal as needed.
• Respond to after-hours problems when on-call.
