Job summary

Kodak Corp is seeking a skilled electrical and mechanical assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures and assemble large precision equipment on a full-time dayshift.

Work involves using hand and power tools, moving machinery with hoists and forklifts, and collaborating with engineers and management. A high school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience are required, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Familiar with electrical/mechanical hand tools and instruments.
• PLC knowledge is a plus.

Kodak is seeking a skilled electrical and mechanical assembler to assemble large precision equipment. Expertise in working with hand tools and measurement instruments. We are looking for skilled people who have a good history of work performance.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Performs assembly work as part of a team of skilled workers, engineering, and management personnel.
• Assembles machines such as high-speed rotating shafting, frame assemblies, gears and pulleys, motors, bearings, and belt conveyors using hand and power tools.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and fork trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management including periodic travel.

Required Skills

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience as an assembler, millwright, maintenance technician or equivalent of at least 5 years.
• Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Must understand the use for the various electrical and mechanical hand tools and instruments
• PLC Knowledge a plus

Working Conditions

• Job tasks performed in an air-conditioned environment.
• Full-time 1st shift (dayshift) opportunities are available.
• Overtime and Saturday may be required as workload dictates.
