Job summary

Rivian in Arizona is seeking a Test Engineering Technician to support the Test & Development Workshop and Engineering teams. You will install instrumentation, run vehicle tests and collect data for analysis, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires hands-on experience with data acquisition systems, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work across multiple engineering groups. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Hands-on experience with in-vehicle data acquisition systems, installation, use and data analysis.
• Strong technical, mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support test and development workshop and engineering teams with instrumentation.
• Plan and execute vehicle tests focusing on data collection and instrumentation.
• Install sensors, thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers and other test hardware.
• Perform fault analysis and document results for hardware and software.
• Collaborate across engineering departments and track progress in Jira/Confluence.
