Qualifications

• BA/BS in Management or Engineering preferred; eight years may substitute for education.
• Minimum ten years of experience in electric utility administration or related field with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous energy control procedures and power transmission/distribution systems.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Safety Code and RUS standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe work environment and ensures regulatory compliance with safety rules.
• Leads the operations team to respond to outages and improve system reliability.
• Coordinates inspections, maintenance and construction projects across departments.
• Oversees meter placement, data transmission for billing, and routine audits.
• Directs performance standards, training, and employee development.
• Prepares budgets for operations, maintenance, and equipment.
