This role blends technical leadership, people development, and client relations while building a local team with support from our established firm. The position involves leading engineers across distribution, transmission, and grid modernization projects, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• 6+ years in electric utility engineering, power systems, distribution or transmission.
• PE license required or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Manage project assignments, client expectations, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide technical consultation on distribution system planning, protection, and grid modernization.
• Review studies, models, drawings, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
