Job summary

Qualus, a leading power solutions firm, is seeking an Associate Project Manager in our Project Management department in the US MA-Westwood area. You will support the oversight of a large portfolio of electric utility projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence across engineering, design, site, and permitting activities.

Under general direction, you will assist in coordinating permits, licenses, budgets, and resources, while helping project managers secure approvals and drive project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in electric utility construction or project management.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools (incl. software).
• Knowledge of design/construction of electric transmission, distribution or substations.
• Strong written and oral communication; executive communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
• Assist with department progress reporting, schedule management, budget, outage coordination, contract administration.
• Manage development and evaluation of bid documents for engineering, design, and construction.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment for project execution.
• Ensure thorough documentation and completion of all project phases.
• Independently manage smaller projects across full lifecycle and controls.
