Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electric Transmission Siting Professional to support utility clients on routing, siting, permitting, and stakeholder engagement across transmission projects. The role involves leading siting workstreams, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and preparing regulatory filings.

You will travel periodically to project sites and collaborate across engineering, environmental, regulatory, and real estate disciplines. The position supports a hybrid work model in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, geography, environmental science, or related field.
• 4–8 years supporting electric transmission or linear infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and reviewing consultant deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute route, site, and constraint evaluations with professional judgment.
• Support landowner outreach, property research, and right-of-way activities.
• Lead portions of client meetings, agency consultations, and stakeholder discussions.
• Review junior staff work and provide direction and quality control.
• Recommend solutions to technical, coordination, and project-management challenges.
