Job summary

Knobelsdorff Electric Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support daily execution of the Project Management organization in Childress, TX.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and Construction Managers to handle documentation, schedules, procurement, and budget-conscious project execution while upholding KE's commitment to safety and performance. The role requires an Associate degree in Project Management or Construction Management, willingness to travel 100% on-site, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Project Management or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Basic project and construction administration experience preferred.
• Construction knowledge preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively, onsite 100% with overnight stays when required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history.
• Competency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation, RFIs, safety records, and closeout documents.
• Attend project meetings, record minutes, and distribute communications.
• Support development and management of project schedules and productivity tracking.
• Assist with reporting scheduled construction activities.
• Coordinate information related to change orders and design changes.
• Create reports, trackers, and status reports.
• Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and rentals.
• Document project expenses and labor costs.
• Support safety audits and incident reporting.
• Assist with preconstruction preparation and handoff.
