Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 3 years in utility or similar industry and/or 3 years in supervision of direct reports.
• Good working knowledge of union contracts and employee relationships.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with employees, contractors and community groups.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Electric Operations for construction, design, planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with contracted companies to achieve optimal project results.
• Ensure safety of employees, customers and contractors during all work.
• Plan and conduct safety meetings and communicate training requirements.
• Manage work assignments to minimize overtime and costs while sustaining service.
• Motivate and engage staff to improve efficiency, productivity and safety.
• Evaluate performance and conduct annual reviews.
• Understand and apply union contracts and employee relations.
• Build and maintain relationships with employees, contractors, and community groups.
• Rotate to other areas within Customer Operations to meet workload needs.
