Job summary

Wisconsin Public Service Corp, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Operations Supervisor in our Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin location. The role focuses on supervising electric operations, coordinating with contracted partners, and ensuring safe, efficient project execution within transmission and distribution systems.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 3 years of utility or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, HSED or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 3 years' experience in utility or similar industry and/or 3 years' experience in supervision of direct reports.
• Solid working knowledge of union contracts and employee relations.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with employees, contractors and community groups.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Supervisory tasks in Electric Operations related to construction, design, planning, and scheduling for WPS electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Collaborate with contracted companies to achieve the best results for projects throughout their area.
• First priority is safety of employees, customers and contractors during all work.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct safety meetings to communicate safety requirements and updates.
• Manage work assignments to minimize overtime and costs while maintaining customer service.
• Motivate and engage employees to increase efficiency, productivity and safety performance.
• Evaluate performance and conduct annual performance reviews with employees.
• Maintain knowledge of union contracts and employee relations.
• The Operations Supervisor may be rotated to other work areas within Customer Operations to address workload demands.
