Job summary

HECO is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator in Kalamazoo to safely manage customer-owned motors from .5 HP to 20,000 HP. You will coordinate all warehouse movements, maintain inventory accuracy, and support EMS storage and preservation programs.

The role requires highly organized, safety-focused individuals with mechanical aptitude capable of operating forklifts and overhead cranes in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of warehouse or industrial material handling experience preferred.
• Chauffeur license required and ability to obtain DOT physical card.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all warehouse movements of customer electric motors and related equipment.
• Organize storage locations and ensure accurate inventory in the ERP/EMS system.
• Perform routine preservation maintenance and Megger testing as part of EMS program.
• Prepare motors for shipment, delivery, and customer pickup.
• Support emergency motor deliveries and escalations with customers and drivers.
