Job summary

Grid One Solutions is hiring Electric Meter Service Technicians to read, shut off and turn on electric meters and issue notices to customers about potential service interruptions. You will also learn how to use our computer system to plan and complete daily work.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers pay from $25.00 to $31.00 per hour, full benefits from hire, a 401(k) plan, uniforms and PPE, plus paid vacation and holidays after probation. Join a nationwide utility services team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical and/or electric experience preferred.
• 1+ years of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform change out of existing electric utility meters and deliver notices as required.
• Assume responsibility for the safe operation of a company vehicle, equipment, and tools.
• Commitment to customer service and responding to the needs of internal and external customers in a professional manner.
