Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and other business software.
• Ability to learn technical metering processes and procedures.
• Strong customer service and professional communication with customers and coworkers.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license and ability to maintain it.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, and repair single-phase electric meters and related equipment.
• Test current and potential transformers.
• Prepare transformers and metering equipment for field installation.
• Perform meter inventories and maintain accurate records.
• Read electric meters and document meter readings.
• Operate meter testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Use voltmeters and ammeters and other electrical testing instruments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform routine driver inspections and maintenance on company vehicles.
