Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure in Florida seeks a Meter Tech to support meter maintenance under the Meter Foreman and Utility Manager. The role involves setting, reading, and disconnecting electric meters, traveling up to 75% to serve residential and commercial sites, and ensuring safety and compliance with procedures.

The position is non-exempt with a pay rate of $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Ideal candidates will have utility field experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Utility Field Experience is preferred.
• Experience with underground or overhead utilities is preferred.
• Equivalent education plus experience acceptable on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Meets client and operating company standards related to meter work.
• Checks meter communication with the utility.
• Sets, changes, or disconnects electric meters and readings investigations.
• Accesses meter locations at residential and commercial premises.
• Maintains tools and equipment, and completes work in SOP.
• Travels up to 75% to support field operations.
