Job summary

trimgroup is seeking an experienced lineperson to install aerial and underground distribution systems and outdoor lighting. The role includes supervising small projects, operating bucket trucks and trenchers, and installing transformers and switchgear in line with NEC/NESC standards.

The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, an apprenticeship in linework, at least four years in the field, and a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of apprenticeship program modified for lineperson.
• Minimum four years in aerial and underground power construction.
• Understands NEC/NESC standards and procedures.
• Maintains a valid Class A CDL and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and proper grounding.
• Read and interpret outdoor electrical distribution drawings.
• Supervise small line construction projects.
• Operate line trucks, trenchers, backhoes and bucket trucks.
• Install transformers, switchgear, and related hardware.
• Ensure compliance with NEC/NESC and company standards.
• Provide on-the-job training for subordinates.
