Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking an assembler for Vista unit assembly, wiring, and subassembly tasks in a production setting. You will work on the shop floor assembling VISTA units and related components, with emphasis on precision and safety.

The role requires reading schematics and wiring diagrams, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet delivery targets. On-site work and physical tasks are involved.

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma required.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and/or electrical wiring.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and engineering specifications.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools including crimpers and torque tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble VISTA Switch on line and shop floor.
• Identify, transport, install, mount and bolt components.
• Perform mechanical inspection with torque wrenches and tape measures.
• Use hand tools and power tools and basic gauges.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Crimp terminals, lugs, connectors per standards.
• Verify wire sizes and terminations per drawings.
• Report material shortages or quality concerns to teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production to meet requirements.
