Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Construction management or electrical infrastructure design experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for cost estimating, design, work instructions, and coordination of construction and maintenance projects on MidAmerican Energy Company's electric delivery system.
• Prepare routine construction work requests with drawings and material lists and perform engineering calculations.
• Conduct field work including locating services, load determination, easement acquisition, staking, and minor surveys.
• Coordinate with customers and residential/commercial developers on project needs.
• Provide routine project management for all phases: scheduling, estimates, drawings, cost tracking, and projections.
