Greenville Utilities is seeking an Electric Engineering Intern (Temporary Part-Time) to support the electric transmission and distribution team in Greenville, North Carolina. The role involves assisting with engineering work, project oversight, and technical support for field crews.
The position requires enrollment in a 4-year BS degree in engineering or engineering technology and a valid driver’s license, with an expected minimum commitment of 12 hours per week and flexible scheduling.
Starting Salary: $14.00 - $20.00/hr.

Under general direction and supervision of the Electric Engineer I/II, assists in engineering duties associated with the electric transmission and distribution system construction and operations; assists with project oversight and technical support to crews regarding the construction, operation and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution systems; assists with special projects as required.
It is expected that the position will require a minimum of 12 hours per week, with flexible scheduling available.
