Greenville Utilities Commission is seeking an Electric Engineering Intern (Distribution) to support the electric transmission and distribution system construction and operations under supervision. The role involves assisting with design, bid documents, bid evaluations, and project management tasks for distribution projects.
The position requires enrollment in a BS degree program in Engineering or Engineering Technology and a valid driver’s license, with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week

Brief Description:
Under general direction and supervision of the Electric Engineer I/II, assists in engineering duties associated with the electric transmission and distribution system construction and operations; assists with project oversight and technical support to crews regarding the construction, operation and maintenance of the electric transmission and distribution systems; assists with special projects as required.
Under and including one year of experience
Enrolled in Four year BS degree in Engineeringor EngineeringTechnology
A valid driver's license
Job Duties:
It is expected that the position will require a minimum of 12 hours per week, with flexible scheduling available.
