Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in overhead and underground electrical line work
• Must pass pre-employment assessment and reach level 4 in Dominion Lineman Development program
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs
• Must obtain valid Class A CDL by end of month 5
• Must meet NERC/FERC requirements
• Weight restrictions: must maintain weight below 290 pounds

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical distribution lines
• Be the first responder to power outages
• Work with Regional Operations Centers within Dominion service territory
• Work alone 90% of the time
• Work a rotating shift
• Be available for callouts during outages or storm restoration events
• Eligible for premium pay for applicable overtime
