Remote work is possible, but candidates must live within 45 miles of Madison, WI or Ames, IA to visit sites regularly. This is a growth-focused position with mentorship and broad exposure to clients and job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with electric distribution systems and project delivery
• Strong communication and detail-oriented approach
• Interest in leading teams and client-facing activities

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee electric distribution design and engineering work, including overhead and underground distribution, system upgrades, and modernization projects
• Lead quality control reviews for pre- and post-construction design packages
• Prepare and review technical analyses, design documents, and deliverables for accuracy and constructability
• Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and drafters, including review of work
• Support permitting and coordination with municipalities, utilities, and third-party stakeholders
• Assist with construction support and issue resolution during build
• Partner with Project Manager to monitor scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Contribute to risk assessments, change management, and project controls
