Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years progressive Lineman experience and completion of OGE Apprentice Program, or
• High School Diploma/GED with 1 year Journey Lineman experience (electric utility certified).
• Associate's Degree in a Technical discipline for Apprentice path, or
• Diploma/certificates in Electrical Power Technology or related Power Line Technology; or
• Prior military line experience with utility line exposure.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles and string wire using equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform substation and switching duties as required.
• Operate test equipment with high proficiency to diagnose issues.
• Construct and maintain overhead/underground distribution systems per SOPs.
• Investigate damaged cables and document events.
