Lee County Electric Cooperative seeks a Journeyman Line Specialist (19B) in Immokalee, FL to perform construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution facilities. CDL Class A is required; apprenticeship completion or four years journeyman experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Certified line worker apprentice program completion and/or four years as journeyman line worker (Required).
• Class A CDL license required.

Aufgaben

• Construction/maintenance of transmission/distribution facilities in cost effective manner.
• Ensure facilities remain reliable and efficient.
• Assist in emergency repair and power restoration after outages.
• Respond to calls during regular and after-hours.
• Account for all construction materials properly.
• Perform duties safely per LCEC rules.
• Comply with codes and standards.
• Must live within 45-minute commute from work site.
• Support storm restoration and long emergency shifts as needed.
• Maintain effective relationships with employees and customers.
