Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in electrical line work or related fields.
• Any combination of work experience relating to electrical line work, construction, and equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lineman in line maintenance, repair and construction.
• Prepare and assemble line apparatus for work.
• Drive and operate City of Trinidad vehicles.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; pickup scrap wire and materials.
• Stock trucks with daily materials.
• Maintain equipment and protective gear in good condition.
• Follow safety standards and city policies.
