Job summary

M&S Engineering LLC seeks an Electric Underground/Overhead Distribution Designer to create distribution designs and construction prints using CAD/GIS tools. You will stake facilities, estimate projects, and prepare exhibits and easements while coordinating with contractors and landowners.

The role requires strong organization, self‑motivation, and the ability to travel overnight across Texas and nearby states. You will ensure compliance with NEC/NA standards and company safety policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of directly related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS mapping concepts.
• Ability to travel overnight to Texas and surrounding states.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce electric distribution field designs and construction prints.
• Perform staking of distribution facilities and project estimation.
• Interface with contractors, engineers, customers, and consultants.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on supplying electric power.
• Edit GIS data and ensure accuracy of drawings and records.
• Prepare easements, exhibits, and property descriptions.
• Comply with safety codes and company safety policy.
