You will work on underground and overhead distribution design, collect field data, analyze sketches, and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires at least 10 years in the utility sector and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum experience in utility industry.
• Ability to manage numerous tasks/projects simultaneously.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily work, including tracking and managing competing priorities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Position will work on projects primarily in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical distribution design projects (underground and overhead) by self or in conjunction with support staff to meet needs of Electric Utility Clients.
• Collect field data.
• Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and related data and drawings to produce final product.
• Complete tabs and populate information in proprietary customer software.
• Complete permitting process with local authorities.
• Coordinate with construction crew for installation of facilities per the design.
• Coordinate with customers on all aspects of project.
• Review design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client requirements, and related specifications.
• Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
• Other duties as assigned.
