Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Distribution Designer to support project teams with detailed design work on overhead and underground electric distribution facilities across diverse projects. You will collaborate with electric utilities and private developers to address engineering challenges and deliver precise designs.

This role requires strong knowledge of NESC and PENG, experience in distribution/substation design, and proficiency with AutoCAD and specialized design tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NESC and PENG for overhead and underground work.
• Design experience in distribution, transmission, substation, and service design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with listed design tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply problem-solving abilities for large utility clients.
• Utilize and learn engineering software packages for distribution design.
• Communicate workload status with Project Manager to meet chargeability goals.
• Perform site-visits, walk-downs, and provide design support to field workers.
