Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Actuator Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, repair, and reassembly of electric actuators at customer sites and in our shop.

You will interpret technical drawings and use measuring equipment to determine repair needs and ensure precise actuator performance. The role requires reading electrical schematics, performing field service, and coordinating with customers and the actuation supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair and reassembly of electric actuators.
• Determine repair requirements using drawings and measuring equipment.
• Overhaul actuators from multiple brands (Limitorque, Bettis, EIM, Auma, Rotork).
• Troubleshoot basic electric circuits and read electrical diagrams.
• Set up repair equipment on site and in the shop.
• Communicate findings to the actuation supervisor and customers.
• Provide accurate records of work performed and recommendations.
