Job summary

Aerzen USA Corp is seeking an Actuator Technician (Disassembly and Assembly) to break down parts, clean, sandblast actuators, and assemble assemblies in a safe, efficient manner. You’ll learn actuator usage in the pulp and paper industry while supporting production goals.

The role requires troubleshooting, reading blueprints and BOMs, and working with common industrial tools. Local candidates with a manufacturing background are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Windows platform.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during production.
  • Set up work environment for efficient assembly.
  • Read work instructions, blueprints, BOMs, and production orders.
  • Tear down components and assemble actuator units.
  • Operate hand and power tools including grinders and sandblasters.
  • Maintain organized inventory of tools and workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • May float to other departments to meet production needs.
