Job summary

The Deputy Warehouse Supervisor at Middlesex County Board of Elections assists the Warehouse Supervisor with day-to-day operations of the warehouse and the prep, maintenance, security, deployment, retrieval, and inventory of voting equipment and supplies. This position is second-in-command and involves hands-on supervision.

Additional duties include coordinating staff, handling voting machines and poll books, ensuring compliance with federal and New Jersey election requirements, maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift and move approximately 30–60 pounds as required in the performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess or obtain any licenses, certifications, or training required for assigned equipment or vehicles.
• Must successfully complete all election‑related training required by the State of New Jersey and Middlesex County Board of Elections.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day operation of warehouse and election operations.
• Assists with preparing, testing, maintaining, cleaning, storing, and minor repairs to voting machines and other election equipment.
• Assists with preparation and packing of supplies for Early Voting, Election Day, and other activities.
• Coordinates delivery and retrieval of voting machines, electronic poll books, election supplies, and related equipment.
• Maintains inventories of voting equipment, electronic poll books, election supplies, tools, vehicles, and other board property.
• Assists with safeguarding sensitive election materials and information.
