Job summary

IEEE seeks a Senior Manager, Elections Operations & Governance to advance the annual election by coordinating with leaders, volunteers, and staff to deliver secure, transparent processes. The role supports Election Oversight and Tellers Committees and oversees large campaign events and election communications.

You will manage governance programs, develop election materials with IT and communications teams, and advise OU leadership on campaign activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as communications or business administration.
• 7–10 years of professional experience; nonprofit or professional society background preferred.
• Experience with project management, budgeting, and governance documents.
• PMI/CAE/PMP pref is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategy and program management for IEEE Annual Election.
• Lead and coordinate with committees, volunteers, and staff.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and execute elections communications plans.
• Ensure adherence to governing documents and policies.
• Supervise two or more direct reports and mentor staff.
• Travel 20% domestically and internationally.
