Job summary

The Cobb County Government in Georgia is seeking a capable supervisor to lead and oversee Election Day poll workers and support staff. You will manage scheduling, training, and day-to-day operations to ensure accurate and compliant voting processes.

You will develop training curricula, review performance, resolve issues, and coordinate with county officials to uphold election integrity and smooth polling operations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Public Administration or related field; 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing elections and voter registration including lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in training development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff; manages schedules and timesheets; counsels or disciplines as appropriate; assists with performance appraisals.
• Provides customer service to voters and answers questions about voting processes.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains poll officials and temporary workers; develops online training and in-person curricula.
• Designs and conducts training classes for poll workers using PowerPoint, video, online formats; coordinates training schedules and materials; oversees print and distribution of materials.
• Maintains inventory of election equipment and supplies; updates after each election; tracks day-to-day supplies.
