Job summary

Wiley in Washington, DC seeks a Compliance and Reporting Coordinator to support the Election Law practice. The role focuses on managing collection, organization, and reporting of disclosures required by lobbying laws at local, state and federal levels.

You will work with attorneys on client-billable projects, monitor deadlines, prepare LD-2 and LD-203 reports, collect internal records, submit disclosures, and establish systems to track data and submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in election law, lobbying, or campaign finance work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet minimum billable hours expectations (1700 total chargeable hours, 1500 client-billable).
• Monitor, communicate, and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines at state, local, and federal levels.
• Prepare and file quarterly LD-2 and semi-annual LD-203 reports.
• Collect internal records to verify billable hours and lobbying expenditures.
• Prepare and submit disclosure/compliance reports for clients.
• Research reporting requirements and summarize findings for attorneys and clients.
• Establish internal systems for tracking data and deadlines.
• Assist in creatingElection Law practice processes and checklists.
