Job description

Caplin & Drysdale is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Associate to work in our Political Law practice group in our Washington, D.C. office. Applicants must have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in political law, preferably in a law firm or in-house counsel capacity.

Our Political Law group is a nationally recognized practice that advises major corporations, trade associations and advocacy groups, including nonprofits, political committees, and candidates on the complex web of federal, state, and local campaign finance, “pay-to-play,” ethics, and lobbying rules, as well as on the Foreign Agents Registration Act and similar state-level laws.This position may also provide an opportunity to work with the Firm’s Exempt Organizations practice group; advising nonprofit organizations on political law matters.
