Job summary

Greene Resources is seeking an Election Equipment Field Technician to join our team in New Bern, NC. You will install, upgrade, and test election equipment, troubleshoot issues on site, and provide on-site training to customers.

The role requires weekly overnight travel within the client’s territory; per diem meals and lodging are covered, and mileage is reimbursed. No prior election experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must understand how voting equipment works from hardware and software perspectives.
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and diagnostics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Strong communication with end-users and coworkers.
• Excellent attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and test election hardware and software.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support.
• Complete work orders and document repairs and maintenance.
• Manage inventory and return of defective parts.
• Deliver on-site training on setup, operation, and care of equipment.
