Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Election Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team in Kapolei, HI. The position handles voter questions, collects registrations, assists with ballots and voting machines, and performs data entry tasks.

Requires at least 6 months of customer service experience and a high school diploma or GED. Fluency in additional languages is a plus. Day shift, 7:45am to 4:30pm, full-time with contract terms.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent typing speed and MS Office skills required.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions related to voting, in person or by phone.
• Gather voter registration applications from public/private agencies.
• Assist with mailing out ballots and handling absentee ballots.
• Handle various data entry duties.
• Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
• Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
• Assist with training and recruitment of employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
