Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a technically skilled professional to participate in defining and analyzing new production processes and cycle times at our Mebane, NC facility.

You will train staff during start-ups, prepare precise process documentation, and ensure SCM has up-to-date information for supplier evaluations and agreements. The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong data analysis, and knowledge of engineering workflows, with a focus on maintenance planning and cross-functional

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with project management and process documentation.
  • Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning and backlog.
  • Familiarity with supplier relationships and SCM.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of new production processes.
  • Shares cycle time data with internal teams.
  • Prepares technical documentation on process phases and cycle times.
  • Supports production during start-ups by training staff.
  • Ensures updated process documentation is provided to SCM teams.
  • Assists in defining action plans and training for Maintenance and Production teams during start-ups.

This position reports to:

Technical Training Manager

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Participates in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products.
  • Shares cycle time data with internal teams.
  • Prepares technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods, and cycle times.
  • Supports production during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
  • Ensures that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements.
  • Participates in the definition of action plans, training of relevant Maintenance and Production teams, and other support activities during the internal/external process and equipment start-up.
