Havenova Home Care Solutions in Guilford, CT seeks a compassionate Elderly Care Aide/CNA to join our in-home care team. You will provide personalized care, monitor vitals, assist with mobility, and support daily living activities for seniors in their homes.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Connecticut
• Prior experience in elderly/home/long-term care preferred
• Strong knowledge of personal care, safety, and infection control; reliable and punctual
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patient-centered approach
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Monitor and record vitals, health changes, and daily activities
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
• Administer medication reminders and follow care plans
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients
• Communicate status with supervisors and healthcare team

Requirements:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
• Prior experience in elderly care, home care, or a long-term care setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of personal care techniques, safety protocols, and infection controlReliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
