Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home- NJ in Summit, NJ is seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to help seniors remain independent at home. No CHHA license is required; a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.

As a part-time role, you'll provide companionship, assist with daily activities, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, meal reminders, and more. Flexible schedules and paid training are available.

Are you compassionate, dependable, and enjoy helping older adults remain independent in the comfort of their own homes? We're looking for caring Companion Caregivers to provide friendship, support, and assistance with everyday activities for seniors throughout our service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation

• Accompany clients on walks and outings

• Transportation to appointments, errands, and shopping

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Encourage engagement in hobbies and activities

• Help clients maintain their independence while providing a safe, caring presence
