Job summary

Velocity Staffing is seeking compassionate Caregivers in Portland, Tennessee. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential companionship and support to seniors by assisting them with various daily tasks. Responsibilities include light cooking, cleaning, and transportation for appointments. Ideal candidates should have experience in caregiving and possess reliable transportation. Qualifications

• 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Companionship

• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
• Pass a drug screen
