Choice in Aging is seeking a Care Professional - Casual to join our team in Pleasant Hill, CA. The role supports frail elders and adults with disabilities by leading activities, assisting with daily living, and documenting client wellbeing.

The position emphasizes respectful, person-centered care, confidentiality, and teamwork within the CiA program to help clients age with dignity in community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to provide compassionate care to frail elders and adults with disabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support staff collaboration.
• Respect for the personhood and dignity of each participant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with program activities, encouraging client participation with recognition, respect and trust.
• Provide care respecting the uniqueness of each individual.
• Document daily interactions and physical wellbeing in client records.
• Maintain confidentiality in all client matters.
• Assist with activities of daily living including toileting, feeding, mobility and personal hygiene.
• Provide safety supervision, emotional support, and behavior management when needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, and clean-up.
