Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and four-year college degree required.
• Active California state bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience in CA state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation for elder abuse and wrongful death victims and families.
• Manage a caseload from pre-litigation through trial with investigative coordination.
• Develop discovery plans and coordinate with health care professionals and experts.
• Advocate for the rights of victims and families in litigation and settlement discussions.
• Maintain regular client communication and explain legal processes and damages work-up.
• Collaborate with public agencies and other professionals to build strong cases.
• Stay updated on elder law statutes and apply them to case strategy.
