Job summary

DSST Public Schools in Denver, CO is hiring English Language Development teachers for middle and high school in a full-time, in-person role. Salary ranges 60,000–80,000 with a relocation stipend for moves from 75 miles or more. If you hold licensure endorsements, base pay increases by 2,000.

Teachers co-teach in Science or English contexts, plan language-rich lessons, and focus on academic language to accelerate multilingual learners’ success. Start July training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field is required.
• Colorado teaching credential is preferred but not required for most opportunities.
• Experience serving multilingual students is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous and engaging content using DSST curriculum across 3–5 classes daily.
• Track and support student growth with varied assessments to guide instruction.
• Promote positive culture and build trusting relationships with students and families.
• Engage in ongoing professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Contribute to school community with duties like student recruitment and tutoring.
