Qualifications

• Spanish speaking skills highly preferred.
• Commitment to equity and inclusive education within the DPS community.
• Live in Colorado and able to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Counsels students to encourage and support achievement.
• Supervises and enforces conduct and behavior per policy.
• Observes, evaluates, reports, and records students' performance and health.
• Prepares lesson outlines and materials per curriculum guidelines.
• Sets clear lesson objectives for lessons and projects.
• Presents subject matter using varied teaching methods and tech.
• Instructs students individually and in groups.
• Prepares and grades tests, reports grades in district software.
• Handles attendance and activity reports as required.
• Communicates with parents/guardians and staff to resolve issues.
