Job summary

This position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia and requires extensive travel up to 80% to support ELA/Reading professional development across districts. Curriculum Associates seeks an educator with classroom or coaching experience to lead on-site professional learning for teachers, coaches, and leaders.

Ideal candidates will have a background in teaching ELA or Reading, experience delivering professional development, and comfort with data-driven instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in teaching ELA/Reading or coaching ELA/Reading professional development
• High comfort with digital tools, online assessments, and data use with teachers and leaders
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and applying them to professional learning
• Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure integrity of program implementations
• Willingness to travel regionally and to company meetings several times per year
• Strong knowledge of State Standards for ELA/Reading for Grades K-8 (content and practice standards)

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted professional development and ongoing in-classroom support
• Analyze data and communicate findings to district and site leaders
• Develop and revise annual professional learning plans with district and site leaders
• Deliver tailored on-site support to teachers, coaches and leaders, including lesson planning and pacing guidance
• Collaborate with district leaders to support district-wide adoptions of Curriculum Associates' products
• Help ensure equity in classroom by supporting teachers with Ready and i-Ready implementation
• Lead and participate in cross-team communication with Sales, teachers, students and districts
